Dia Uno

Star Date: 1/14/2012

We have arrived and much to my chagrin, the mariachi band I hired couldn't make it past customs to welcome us.
All our luggage and body parts were delivered to Santiago without a hitch, the only issue now is trying to catch up on sleep.
We enjoyed a local favorite yesterday with Sarah and Sebastian, (Kelly's old friends from her studying days) of french fries topped with diced beef and two fried eggs. They are truly miles ahead....
It sounds like internet may be harder to come by in Patagonia where we will be heading on Monday for a couple of months work, I guess the guy needs a bigger net. Mi espanol es muy mal, pero aprendo mas cada dia.
Adios

  1. Say "Che" in front of everything you say (like, "Hey"). Also, "Re" which means "muy". For example, "Che, ¡perdiste la joda (party, f**king around) anoche! ¡Fue re bueno! Also, "embole" "lio" and "quilombo" are good words to know. Good luck!
